I encountered an unusual issue where my IT friend provided me with a Windows 10 Enterprise license. It lacks activation options and displays a message requiring network access that I don’t have. After some troubleshooting, I obtained a genuine Windows 10 Home copy but face installation difficulties. EDIT: I resolved the problem by downloading Windows 10 to a USB drive and booting from it. Thanks to everyone!

You need to boot from the Windows 10 USB drive, wow the installation process. The Enterprise requires activation on the network server; if you're not connected, it won't work. When you restart, press Shift during the troubleshooting step to access the boot options and choose the USB device.

I don’t have a USB drive with Windows 10 installed, only the product key.

Create a USB with Microsoft’s utility and boot from it. It will request your activation key. Avoid generating one for Enterprise when you purchased a Home version!

I noticed Windows 10 Enterprise at the link provided. You can utilize the media creation tool for it.

I attempted, but it indicates incompatibility with this Windows version.
