I just tried to launch Star Wars Republic Commando but it didn’t start. I only manage the game via the system file, so here’s what I attempted: turned bumpmapping off, set values to zero, enabled XP compatibility, lowered resolution to the lowest, ran as admin, used 640x480, played through integrated graphics instead of NVIDIA, reinstalled several times. Still nothing works. I can’t read any event logs meaningfully, so I’m asking if anyone can assist. The error code is 0xc0000005 and it’s stuck at fault.

Already tried, didn't succeed. At the end of my cable here, usually I can fix old games, but this isn't that far back. Even got Thief 2 to run on my PC! Noticed I left out my PC details. Windows 8.1, 64-bit. Nvidia GTX 780M. Updated May 18, 2015 by Blade of Grass
