The problem likely stems from enabling network level authentication on your NAS. You previously turned it off, and now you're encountering login issues despite using the correct credentials. Try switching your NAS to a VGA monitor to disable NLA, then reconnect it to the PC. Both your systems should support this feature.

It appears the server side may lack updates for a known security issue, which could prevent post-patch clients from connecting.
