pc specs ROG STRIX B650-A gaming wifi with ryan zen 7 7800x3d ddr5 gskill flarex5 6000 zotac 4080 super. i’m having trouble getting my pc to boot properly with xmp and ram set to 6000. when i switch to auto speeds it works and runs at 4800. i’ve been trying this for a few days and think something might be wrong with the screen display that can’t be fixed.

Check the bios for any issues if that would assist, but note defective rams are present.

Do you have sufficient time for the Memory Train? Some devices with DDR5 on AM5 may require over 5 minutes. Could you share an image showing your XMP settings?

I don’t think the problem is necessarily with Ryzens’ memory controllers, though compatibility issues could play a role. It’s possible they should test another type of RAM if the BIOS update doesn’t resolve the issue.

Sure, I believe some individuals have mentioned sessions lasting over thirty minutes.

I plan to install the latest software update upon returning from work and check if it resolves the issue.

Activate memory context restoration too; reduces memory training load. Does it still start at 6000? Please confirm the BIOS update is functioning.
