Need assistance with Ram speed for your new AMD build.
Hi there! I hope someone can assist you. You recently replaced your PC's motherboard, RAM, and CPU, and I've attached a photo of the new parts. The PC starts up normally, but the RAM is stuck at 2133 MHz. I've tried updating the BIOS and adjusting the speeds from 2666MHz to 3600MHz, but it still doesn't change. I've also switched the RAM slots from A1/B1 to A2/B2. Feeling a bit stuck on what to do next! Thanks, Xander.
I'm checking the software for RAM speed verification. Task Manager can have issues, so using CPU-Z is a better option. When you turn on the documentation viewer, ensure the DRAM voltage is set to 1.35V. You might try raising the SOC voltage to 1.05 and observe any improvements.
Thanks for the quick response! I was checking the BIOS and CPU-Z, but I'm just starting out. I included a screenshot of CPU-Z and the BIOS settings I'm using. The BIOS status says 2133 MHz, which seems like a 3600 MHz system!
Best, Xander
It displays the data in a single channel, indicating both sticks operate at 3600. If you halve that value, you'll see this reading.
