Memtest ran successfully on the 8400. Adjusted timings to 8600, 40, 54, 54, 54, 128 and performed all day with normal tasks. Next, I’ll adjust the 54s to around 50 and then test CL38 if needed.

8800Mhz CL40 model loaded successfully with 50/50/50/84 configuration. Recently restarted; note the earlier update to 8800CL38 version.

It seems stable yes. The current setup uses around 9000 volts, but you're aiming for closer to 9000 as well. You might want to target that and consider a slight boost of 0.1 bclk for better performance.

Identified five issues with memtest. Adjusting secondary timings or increasing voltage? Current setting is 1.51V with water cooling, dual fans, and dedicated RAM loop.

For secondaries, wait until the problem arises. Consider boosting voltage to 1.56V or 1.6V only if necessary; otherwise, focus on managing heat and scaling the IC. Gradually reduce primary voltage while monitoring stability. For example, a 3100 max frequency might drop to around 3000 after lowering to 3000 MHz. Signs that performance drops sharply at low frequencies include increased instability and sudden spikes in volatility. If the system becomes erratic at very low speeds, it may indicate overheating risks, which typically cause crashes and a rapid temperature decline over a few hundred to a couple of thousand hertz.

I'll start with the voltage test first to check the outcome! The setup has 16mk pads and an internal loop, so I'm confident it can handle the cooling.

It doesn’t matter how well it handles a 8600 start after passing a solid stress test for a long period; just keep going and try again.
