I'm trying to assemble a new PC using the Aorus Elite X570 and Ryzen 3700X. I considered getting the Trident Z Neo with 16GB RAM at 3600MHz but I expect it to arrive on December 24th. I'm curious if the Trident Z RGB 3600 at 18GHz would be significantly worse than the first one and if it would be noticeable during gameplay. Thanks for your help and sorry for my English <3

Well if the ram is clocked at 3600MHz, you wont see a difference. If the ram is at its default speed (2933MHz) you might notice it.

When the speed is extremely high, timing effects become less significant. The rapid movement compensates for any issues. However, at lower speeds, the effect would be much more apparent. Also, I must admit C18 feels quite poor; I've only encountered C16 or C15 models before.

Consider purchasing the Neo version 3600@cl16 first. Explore options at any 3600@CL16 or lower models. For the 3700X, suggest a suitable kit.

Yes, waiting that long would work well. Another option is using a different kit with the same specifications, though I think you're aiming for the Neo version mainly for its look.
