I enjoy Rainbow Six and aim for a smooth 4K experience at over 60 FPS. Based on your plan, you’ll need powerful hardware to handle the demands. Consider investing in a high-end GPU with strong VRAM (at least 16GB recommended), a fast CPU, ample RAM, and a solid-state drive. For stability, ensure good cooling and consider an SSD for faster load times. Regarding the build, prioritize components that match your budget while keeping performance in mind. As for running the game smoothly, it should work well if you follow these tips and upgrade gradually.
Looking at just one strong GPU, I understand that Rainbow Six: Siege doesn’t currently allow NVIDIA SLI or AMD Crossfire. It’s possible this changed around September or October, but up until then it was the case. There used to be some SLI support, though it often had bugs and issues. I’ve already spent about 350 hours in R6 Siege now.
Well then 4k at ultra everything isn't happening, like I said anti aliasing in this game kills your FPS I honestly see no reason in even turning anti aliasing on 4k so if you turn that to like x2 or msaa and possibly a 1080 then maybe ~60 fps
For 2160 gaming you don’t require AA or a texture pack. Rainbow Six Siege needs a minimum of 1080 for 2160@30.
