Consider purchasing the vive now. The reviews suggest the games aren't great, but people keep talking about how even simple titles can be fun. You tend to prefer more challenging games and get bored quickly, so this might not suit you. It feels like a TV screen stuck to a motion sensor—probably not impressive. You live in an apartment, so space might be limited. A £5,000 investment for a decent game seems excessive, and you're worried it will become outdated soon.

You mentioned you're ready to place an order now, but then you seem unsure about its appeal. Are you looking for advice on whether to buy the VIVE or RIFT? Both are early models, and improvements will likely come in later updates. If you're not convinced by the current setup or ecosystem, it might be best to hold off until the next generation.

I’m naturally attracted to the experience, but I’m unsure if it’s worth pursuing. Sure, I could live a life without one and without the chance to try it, which makes me uncertain about my true enjoyment.

I share it with my brother—it's an enjoyable activity. There are definitely some fun games to play. Overall, it's a great experience and entertaining to see others have the same time. However, I think it doesn't justify the $800 price tag unless you plan to use it often. My brother and I also split the cost, and spending time together with the Vive makes it worthwhile. It's also a nice way to impress friends and family.
