Hi everyone, I've been working on setting up a port forward for my Minecraft server and it hasn't turned out as expected. My router is a ZHXN H108N V2.5 from my provider, but I'm facing some issues. I entered the following settings in the port forwarding menu: Enabled: True, Protocol: TCP, Name: minecraft, WAN Host Start IP Address: blank, WAN Host End IP Address: blank, WAN Connection: default, Start Port: 25565, End Port: 25565, MAC making: false, LAN Host IP Address: 192.168.254.107, LAN Host Start Port: 25565, End Port: 25565. After I applied the changes and restarted the router, the server still didn't work. The local server is fine, but the public IP isn't showing up. Any advice?

This seems correct. You might want to verify the server's firewall configuration. It’s simpler to disable it fully for troubleshooting, then gradually re-enable it afterward.

The server runs on a raspberry pi. I'll test it later; I need to leave now. Thanks a bunch!

Many service providers offer a port forwarding feature in their online platforms. Consider checking it if simply enabling the firewall on your PC isn't sufficient.

Hmm, it hasn't worked even though the firewall is off. I'll experiment with the web portal later.

Consider another WAN port, as some ISPs restrict specific ports. Test WAN port 80 and verify if your firewall allows inbound traffic on that port.
