Hello, I need to increase the overclock of my EVGA GTX 960 SSC ACX 2.0 using EVGA Precision XOC. I’ve already done some benchmarks on Heaven with GPU clock offset and Mem clock offset, and they seem to work. The first test showed FPS of 66.5 with a score of 1676, minimum 28.3 and maximum 142.0 in default settings. After applying the overclock, the results were 73.2 FPS, score 1844, min 24.7 and max 160.6, using +200 GPU clock offset and +100 Mem clock offset. I’m trying to understand how to do this properly so I don’t risk damaging my graphics card. Please help.

the GPU is both, but the mem clock has a much smaller impact.

gradually speed up the clock (in small steps) until you notice artifacts.
next, raise the voltage (using small changes).
monitor GPU temperature – it should stay under 85°C during operation.

just raise the clock in small steps until you notice issues.
then adjust the voltage with small changes.
monitor GPU temperature – it must stay under 85°C when running.
which one matters more, the GPU clock or the memory clock? Should I handle both?
