Hey there, I'm facing an issue with Origin. What bothers me most is that this problem only shows up in two of my games—Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Dead Space 3—that use Origin. The rest of the games I have that need Origin to function are working fine. These two games just won't start or launch, and sometimes after a brief fix, they still refuse to boot again. I'm not sure what to do anymore. To be clear, I launch everything from Steam, not directly through Origin. What steps could help resolve this? I've tried reinstalling the games, checking the files, verifying the EXEs with admin rights, and cleaning up things like shader caches. Thanks a lot for your help! Best regards, PrimeSteak

Sure, it seems like you're asking if the EA can be removed and replaced, possibly due to an issue.

Check the Windows Event Log for clues.
Turn off MSI Afterburner when needed.

I searched online for assistance and found a fix. Clearing the Origin cache and adding the game’s executable to my antivirus’ exceptions worked. Once I did that, the game started running properly.

I'm dealing with problems in a few C&C titles on Origin (Generals and Red Alert 2). My solution is to stop all Origin references in the Task Manager and then restart the game. Clearing the Origin cache didn't help me before.
