I was wondering if someone could assist me. I have this old Win10 system that I haven't used in over two years. I decided to try updating it so I could play games during the holidays. I've just downloaded a few games on Steam without any issues. However, when I attempt to download the sound mixer software FXsound Enhancer, it keeps displaying an "error" message. I also tried another sound mixer from NCH, but the same problem persists. Do you have any suggestions? Is this related to my Windows version? Thank you very much for your help.

Which web browser are you employing during these downloads? Certain browsers are set to restrict downloads from sites they don’t regard as prominent software providers, which may complicate reaching smaller, lesser-known websites.

Consider switching to Edge if you're on Chrome.

Please note the suggestion. I just verified it. It was configured to store download files on one of the two drives I had disabled in the BIOS. These are SATA drives functioning as storage units. However, they were leading to boot issues. Each time the system restarts, it triggered an automatic repair process. Therefore, I disabled them in the BIOS settings. Thank you for your assistance.
