Thanks for the advice. I’ll keep that in mind next time I need to set one up (probably not often). No configuration has been done yet, so they’re functioning like switches—each with its own SSID. I can set priority for one device over others. I haven’t tested pinging the routers yet.

It could be a simple idea, but double-check that all IP addresses fall within the same range such as 192.169.x.x, 172.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x. If they differ, you won’t be able to detect other devices. I’m not sure how it functions exactly, but it works for my guest network using a separate IP range from the main network. Make sure the Razor routers aren’t serving as DHCP servers and are receiving their IPs from the virgin media hub, otherwise two devices in the house might receive the same address, which could cause issues. I don’t have much experience with Razor routers, so I can’t recommend a method to ensure proper network extension.

Razer mentions that the silo can function as a router in a network, yet it shouldn't act like a modem. This could indicate an issue with double NAT settings. It seems they might be able to switch both devices into bridge mode while retaining all previous features. Give it a try and observe the results.

Each device has its own method for this setup. Typically, turning off DHCP on the Razer and connecting it to the Virgin box through a LAN port on the back should suffice. This approach creates a single flat switched network, eliminating routing and ensuring broadcast traffic reaches all devices. For internet access, you'll be routed through the Virgin router. The current functionality relies on having two separate LANs with broadcast domains, so traffic dependent on broadcasts won't cross between them.
