Is the crosshair or the Maximus in question? If it's the Maximus, the socket won't work with a Ryzen CPU. If it's the crosshair, it uses an X370 chipset and needs a BIOS upgrade for compatibility. It’s best to replace it with an X570 TUF for direct 4th-gen support without any updates.
