Initially, if this coax is used for internet or TV service from a cable provider, you should install a MOCA filter on the main cable entering your home. This device blocks the 1 GHz to 1.5 GHz range that MOCA uses while exiting your house and reflects it back in, increasing its strength. Some users also place MOCA filters on their modems. Outside of those cases, there’s likely little more to do. I’ve also heard people mention passing signals through splitters even if they aren’t rated for above 950 MHz, which should still function with some loss.

Find the main cable and place the filter there. A filter is a component that helps improve signal quality. For more details on MoCa and filters, you can check reliable websites or product pages.

I can't trace the cable because I'm unsure which end connects to the pole. Look at the cabling that starts from your home and goes to the pole or joins the underground line. Some locations use underground wiring. Check the product page for details: https://www.amazon.com/Filter-MoCA-Cable...1576286191

You can identify the incoming cable by checking the label or markings on the cable itself, often near the pole or street connection point. If unsure, inspect the connector type and consult local guidelines for common configurations.
