Need assistance with MOCA!
Does Coax provide the internet connection, so do I just need one MOCA adapter? I have a coax cable close to my PC.
This refers to a cable modem. You connect an ISP-compatible modem and can either use it directly or link it to a router.
I have a coax near my desk linked to the internet line for my router. The router is about 80 feet away from walls (since the house is rented). We need fast speeds—500 Mbps down and 100 Mbps up. I heard MOCA adapters could help, but I’m curious if there’s a better solution.
Using MoCA is currently the top option for me in this situation. I receive gigabit speeds straight to my media center. Feel free to ask if you need any adjustments to my setup.
