Need assistance with MBOO form factor? Let me know how I can help!
Hello everyone, I'm planning to purchase this motherboard as part of an affordable gaming PC setup and just need guidance on its form factor. The model number is Acer Veriton X2610G. I understand it's a prebuilt unit, but I'm curious—does the M.2 slot contain an ATX microchip? Will it fit in a standard case? Thanks!
A standard ATX case works with a micro ATX motherboard. The main issue is with mini ITX models, which don’t match. You’re welcome! Updated: even mini ITX fits the ATX standard—perfect! Important note: the form factor I checked shows most makers now use NLX, so it won’t fit an ATX case. Thanks!
Thank you for checking again. The Acer Veriton X2610G may not fit in a standard ATX case, does it?
Sadly, it would need some hands-on adjustments if you prefer drilling holes.
Thanks for going through the steps again. Shouldn't make the holes misaligned? It should still be solid enough.
Yes, you're allowed but you must pay attention to where your input/output is directed and whether it affects anything else. Check carefully, test once, then proceed.
