I was browsing through my computer and discovered a .install.wim file (about 2GB in size) and an install_Windows7PROFESSIONAL.clg file (1MB). I attempted to install Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, but it caused issues with the Windows loader, so I ended up installing Ubuntu instead. These files are stored on a flash drive. I’m not comfortable with this anymore—do these files have any value? If yes, what should I do? If not, what are they and what purpose do they serve? Please help me urgently, as I really need Windows back. (My system is an HP Brobook 4420 running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, now using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit.)

It seems like you're questioning whether you're seeing two answers or if the issue is more complex. If no one responded, it might be due to lack of awareness—double posting won't resolve it. Formatting the drive may restore Windows, but you'll need to reinstall it. Consider reaching out to HP support for a replacement key.
