You're considering the Intel Arc A750 for its affordability. You're weighing Ryzen 5 5600/x and Intel i5 12400F options, looking at motherboard choices that fit your budget. The Intel board you found offers four RAM slots, which is a nice feature. While some suggest Intel CPUs help reduce GPU power use, both AMD and Intel models are now comparable in price. You're leaning toward staying with the current setup and adding more RAM or an SSD rather than upgrading the CPU or GPU. Let me know if you need help deciding between the two options!

The available options in the BIOS are primarily ASPM.

Intel offers a more reliable solution instead of looking for those boards.

Neither system offers real benefit from a simple upgrade. Yes, the AM4 setup can work with a 5700x3D or 5800x3D, but it probably isn't worth it compared to a 5600x option at this stage. Skipping a Z-series board for Intel would make sense if prices drop later, since the AM4 platform remains viable. AMD continues releasing products for it, so its value should stay stronger. You might also consider a 5950x without major drawbacks versus the LGA1700 board that could hurt performance.

I contacted both Gigabyte and MSI support regarding the AMD motherboard, and they confirmed they offer that L1 cache feature.

It seems like you're confirming the design is settled and no longer concerned about the motherboard in AMD.

You might also look at used cards from the Big Two. These are likely to give you a more satisfying experience because Intel hasn't been around for graphics cards long.

I agree, though our second-hand market isn't very secure. I don't live in a safe area with people using PCs that have GPUs.
