I didn't power it off and pressed next, which showed options such as Erase Disk and Install Linux Mint Encrypted. For a secure setup, use LVM during the installation. Previously, I tried a YouTube tutorial but it didn't work for me.

It indicates similar to clicking erase will save the listed items to the disks. If not, you can adjust further manually. Warning: removing partitions will erase all data on them and any other partitions that will be formatted. The partition tables for the following devices are updated: the following partitions will be formatted partition#1 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda) at ESP partition#2 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda) at ext4 partition#3 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda) at swap. Should I proceed?

To completely wipe all information on the drive, follow these steps. The first partition is reserved for your EFI firmware, ensuring it starts up correctly. The second partition holds your main data and operating system. The third serves as swap space. Losing everything is expected here, which seems to be your intention.

The setup is finished. You can remove the pendrive if you wish, or keep it connected and restart your device.
