Need assistance with installing cinnamon mint?
my laptop was running windows 10 before it faced a problem, so i tried rufus to install mint cinnamon. during the installation i encountered several issues and had no idea how to partition the drive. since the hdd is 1 tb, i watched some youtube tutorials but still faced difficulties. finally, after clicking install, it displayed the partition table format it expected, asking me to do something unfamiliar. could someone please assist me with this? thank you!
Ignore the details and choose to remove the current OS, then install Linux Mint. You don’t need to worry about partitions; the default should be sufficient.
Another choice was made, displaying the partition table. Return to it. The feature should exist. Auto-partitioning will handle it.
The third-party setup involves adding components such as flash and codecs, and enabling them works fine. Enabling secure boot is convenient but not mandatory. It can be a bit cumbersome since it prompts you to enter a password, and upon restarting, it may repeatedly ask for the first letter of your password. This issue occurs only once.
