Need assistance with installing a case fan?
Hi, I need to install new case fans on my PC because the existing NZXT 120mm ones are making a lot of noise. When I bought it, it was built by a shop and currently has three fans, but both front intake fans are connected to two different 2-pin adapters before going into the motherboard. I’m considering replacing them with two new 3-pin fans and want to know if I should use the 2-pin adapters or install them directly on the board. I’m also unsure about the correct placement and wiring. Thanks ahead of time. Place the new fans in the same locations as the old intake fans (fan header). This allows swapping them out easily. You have many headers on the board, so you can utilize all of them. A splitter can be added to the header for more fans. These options let you control everything via BIOS with Q-fan: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LG...V2_WEB.pdf
