Don't take it lightly, it might be affordable yet still adequate for smooth gameplay. I plan to boost the RAM, though I'm unsure if I'll manage financially.
I optimized by maximizing "Distance Scaling." Also consider disabling tessellation to check for improvement. Tessellation has minimal impact in GTA V, but it consumes significant resources. I also reduced population variety slightly, since the game loads more people when you drive at high speeds. Let me know if that resolves the issue.
Good luck! Check out this video for guidance on resolving a similar problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWbJon8YxIg
Tried the fix, but the problem still exists. Now the glitchy gray area in games loads quicker—watching that video might help, but I’m not sure. Thanks again!
I resolved the problem by following these steps. For dual-core processors that aren’t handling V well, lowering texture resolution reduced workload and worked for me. If you have a more powerful CPU but still experience this issue, try adjusting distance scaling, populating density, and giving your GTA V high priority in Task Manager. These changes really helped me, even though I don’t have a very powerful machine with minimal RAM. A huge win for those who tried this! P.S. I saw the glitch again, but it’s extremely rare—it usually renders in half a second if it does happen.
Additionally, the CPU doesn't reach 100% often; it usually stays above 90%.
