I'm new here, just got GTA V installed and downloaded a huge file. After launching, I ran into some issues—especially with the car’s gray areas not rendering properly. They took about half a minute to show up. Anyone else have faced this problem? Also, my system specs are R9 280x, Intel Pentium G620, and 4GB DDR3 RAM.

Back then, I experienced an issue with my Alienware Alpha having only 4GB of RAM. My suggestion was to upgrade to more RAM once it reached 16GB, and the problem was fixed afterward.

I recently purchased a GPU a few days back, but I can't afford enough RAM right now—I don’t have the budget for more memory.

This situation hasn't occurred before, though it resembles an issue I encountered in GTA IV related to insufficient VRAM.

280x runs on 3GB OS with VRAM, GTA consumed about 2GB of it.

That’s unlikely. Being low on system RAM probably isn’t the issue, though it could be. The memory levels should be clear—since I’ve noticed my usage often exceeds 12 GB, it’s possible we’re hitting a limit.

Wow, the RAM is acting up, but I’ve never had issues with it during games. The HDD was the problem before, but not with RAM now. Guess I’ll have to stay quiet and hope things settle down.

It's impressive how it keeps running without freezing. Probably just manage things temporarily and boost the memory once you can afford it.

I had this problem too. I fixed it by fixing the rendering settings in the game itself. Can you take of picture of your video settings?
