Verify your temperatures in MSI Afterburner. Less than 80 is sufficient for overclocking. It's wiser to invest in a better GPU rather than pay extra for a GT710.

I don't really feel the need to invest in the GT710 since its GPU isn't great. My birthday is coming up, so I plan to upgrade my i5 650 to an i7 870 and PSU, after which I'll get a used GTX 1060 or something similar.
