I'm not sure if I'm in the correct category. I sent some video files to my Google Drive, but it won't let me download them to my PC. I can't find any explanation for this issue. I have a Gmail account and am logged in. The videos are visible in Drive. When I attempt to download them, a warning about scanning for viruses appears at the bottom left of the screen. There are no viruses, as they came from my phone. After that, nothing happens. What should I do? These files are in MP4 format, and my PC uses Windows 10.

What is the size of the file? Have you verified it in the download area? It might be downloading and awaiting a virus scan completion.

The file I'm attempting to download is 65.02 MB in size. It doesn't indicate where the file is stored, so I suspect it isn't actually downloading. I've tried search programs and files with the same name, but none were found on my PC.

I discovered a USB cable that links to my phone and managed to move the video files to my PC this way. I'm not sure why the drive is proving so challenging.

as it was created using a mobile device, your computer is undergoing a virus scan before you use it.

There is now a new issue. My videos are still not sending properly to my friend. Gmail needs them as a Drive link because of their size. I attached the files and let it send them to Drive, which creates links for each video. When I check my sent folder, they say the files can't be scanned for viruses. They won’t play, and I doubt the recipient will watch them. Drive seems tricky, but I’m not sure what else I can do besides sending them on a USB stick and mailing it.

It seems there might be an issue with the Google service, but do you have a Microsoft OneDrive account?
