Not always intended to function properly, yet certain servers rely on Counter Strike Source or Half-Life assets (not part of Gmod by default, but exclusive to those titles). This can seem quite odd. However, you can obtain these files from online sources.

Counter-Strike: Source stands out as the top choice. Additional titles like Half Life 2: Episode 1 & 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal 1 (or Orange Box) also assist, though Source offers the strongest support.
