A LAN isn't the same as the internet; they're actually opposite concepts. Are you aiming to set up a LAN or extend internet access to a LAN? Simply connecting devices requires a switch.

You only need a router and a switch. You don’t have to use a modem because it’s local and you won’t be handling translation
