I recently purchased Fallout 4 and it’s struggling to run smoothly. It’s consistently hitting around 45 FPS max. Need some assistance getting it to perform better.

System looks good but might be running slow. Consider disabling anti-aliasing to test performance.

I disabled anti-aliasing and it slowed things to 35 fps. Also, the Godray fix didn’t help much.

It's quite unusual. It worked well on my 970, delivering around 45 to 60 frames per second with reasonable settings (not at full capacity). However, this was some time back, and I haven't played it recently. Consider doing a quick search on Google—others might have similar issues.

Check if you've turned off vsync in the Fallout 4 preload file (iPresentInterval=0) and set it to read-only. It helps when the launcher tries to reactivate it. I faced the same issue during the launch.
