I finished dismantling the institute with the help of the minutemen and I maintain good relations with the brotherhood. Elder Maxson often says he’s busy now and we can chat later. Anyone know what’s happening or how to reconnect with him? P.S. I heard you can be promoted to Paladin and earn a mint condition X-01 Power Armour set from them—how would you go about that?
the exhibit features a power armor suit atop the museum of freedom, though that's all I recall so far—probably not too far into the game.

I played the game for a whole month and didn’t do any missions, man. I just picked one up right now, lol.
you don't get x-01 from the BoS. but there is one at a place called 35 court half of the quests in this game are bland. in my opinion of course
You're likely not eligible for promotion if you align with someone other than the Brotherhood. For X-01, head to the designated spawn points for frames; the power armor generated there adapts to your level, changing from early to later stages.
