I don't really feel confident in my skills with dog fighting or the tactics behind it. I played a bit of War Thunder and didn't do too well—more like a shooting range for me. If you have any videos, tips, tricks, or general advice on the subject, I'd really appreciate it! Also, any specific tactics for different ship types would be great! (Heavy ships, fighters, non-combat vessels—focus on evasion) My current ships include the Reclaimer Gladius Herald Constellation and the Andr. 325a Redeemer.
Wait for the right moment before shooting, allowing multiple hits if possible. A single energy weapon shot across a ship’s side might just draw attention without causing real damage because of shields. The bulldogs are my top choice—go all out when you can. Dogfighting is about lasting through the fight; sometimes patience pays off.
