Hello everyone, I’m reaching out for some advice. I’ve tried all the solutions I found online and in forums, but nothing helped. To clarify, I recently upgraded my PC with new components—specifically a GA-A320M-S2H, Ryzen 5 1600AF, HyperX Predator (2x8GB), 3200MHz DDR4 HX432C16PB3K2/16 GPU, and the PSU and GPU from my old build (Corsair CX550 and PNY 1060 3GB). The setup worked smoothly for about three months. Then one day, it started reserving half of my RAM. I’ve been working on fixing this ever since. Sometimes it would boot into Windows 7 with the 16GB, then switch back to 8GB during the next startup. I’ve used tools like msconfig and checked the virtual memory, but nothing resolved the issue. The BIOS is quite basic, and the only RAM-related setting that changes is enabling XMP.

I've noticed some improvement regarding these matters after updating the BIOS. Have you taken similar steps?

When adjusting the bios configuration, ensure Memory Remapping is either turned on or off. I've noticed some issues with Windows showing incorrect memory due to this setting.
