Unfortunately, I don’t have the manual anymore. The laptop has been with me for some time, and I think it’s probably the HP Pavilion-E, though I’m not sure.

Set the tool at roughly a 20-45 degree tilt. Apply some pressure gently, and it should glide in. Afterward, push downward and it will secure firmly.

I understand the problem with the RAM module. I can insert and remove it from another slot, but there seems to be an issue with this one. The stick doesn’t fit properly at the angle I try to push it in.

The image shows the same RAM module in the working slot prior to being pushed down. You can observe that the entire gold coating is obscured. A picture of it mounted is also available.

It applies a slight downward pressure regardless of the force used, and it ultimately comes out.
