I see the variation you're observing. It might just be another model with subtle differences, not just an upside-down version.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the manual anymore. The laptop has been with me for some time, and I think it’s probably the HP Pavilion-E, though I’m not sure.
Set the tool at roughly a 20-45 degree tilt. Apply some pressure gently, and it should glide in. Afterward, push downward and it will secure firmly.
I understand the problem with the RAM module. I can insert and remove it from another slot, but there seems to be an issue with this one. The stick doesn’t fit properly at the angle I try to push it in.
Did you attempt to fix it by snapping it into position once it was pushed in?
It applies a slight downward pressure regardless of the force used, and it ultimately comes out.
