I recently upgraded my computer to an AM5 chipset and installed a new power supply. After some driver problems, I reinstalled Windows and all drivers, and it functioned well for about a month. I didn’t push the system to its limits—just played light games. Today I downloaded Fortnite and received an alert that my drivers weren’t up to date. I tried AMD Adrenaline, but couldn’t launch it. I reinstalled it and updated the drivers again. To make my Logitec webcam work, I had to turn off kernel isolation. After roughly ten minutes of gaming, I saw a black screen and the PC shut down three or four times. I suspected the Logitec driver was the issue, so I removed it, re-enabled kernel isolation, and used the standard Windows driver for the webcam. The game still crashed. I reinstalled the game, which worked for about two hours, but then it appeared again with a black screen. I checked if my CPU was overheating, but it wasn’t. A benchmark test showed everything normal. How can I determine the cause of these blackouts? I believe the PSU might be insufficient—despite its 600W output. My system runs a Ryzen 5 7600 with an Radeon RX 7600 X and a non-modular 600W PSU on the PRO A620M-E motherboard, using Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631. Thank you in advance! Joshua edit: I also experience heavy lag or brief freezes for a second or two before the black screen appears—I never had lag in Fortnite and my PC should be stable now… it generally works well afterward.
