Watch some tutorials, then practice a lot of deathmatch games. That's my training method. Preparing for a weapon means studying the videos first, then using only that weapon throughout the whole match. Keep repeating until you feel sure. Playing casually is okay if you want a bit of competition, but I think 10v10 is too many players.

For that intense competitive vibe, simply enter 'retakes' in your server browser.

Avoid staying near a wall because of how things look... others will notice you first.

What is bhopping? It helps navigate the map faster with a small time edge. It's also handy for self-boosts and learning KZ strategies. In pro matches, clutches have been secured when a player bhopped into an area before the opponent, sometimes saving the game. While bunny hopping, you can maintain steady 300 units of movement; with a knife out, the limit drops to 250.

Taking advantage of quick, close-range pop flashes can secure an easy outcome before retreating. In confined areas like the ladder room or whore house on de_mirage, you must peek near the walls since distant views aren't possible. On the long A/Arch side of de_inferno, a pop flash lets you see close to the wall for a quick strike or to determine the direction of the T's. Peeking from the shoulder helps lure out a defuse near the wall, especially when you suspect a bomb is being placed there—like from the palace on de_mirage. You can't see far from the corner; you either shoulder peek or commit fully to get a shot. CT will tap the bomb to draw you out, leaving you with limited time. Either stick the bomb or rush in for a kill, or risk him placing it and then only peeking again. Mastering the right peeking technique is essential, but understanding the context is equally important.
