I just began playing CS:GO two weeks ago for the first time. I’m currently gold nova 2 and mostly used the AWP. I became really skilled with it, playing aggressively with fast reactions, accuracy, and precision. Everything was fine and my team trusted me in critical moments. Recently I joined a few days ago, but I’m struggling now. My aim is poor, reaction time is slower, and holding the mouse feels awkward. I don’t feel confident anymore. Playing other games like Shadow of Mordor, Skyrim, and Witcher 3 works great for me, but this isn’t the case. I’m frustrated and feeling down about it. I found a fun team and friends who enjoyed playing with me, but now I can’t join them easily. They say it’s fine, but I really miss being part of it.

Stroll through the park. Return to it once more. Pause for a moment.

Take a break between games, avoid doing a marathon or anything exhausting—it’ll drain your energy. I focus on one competitive session per day.

Prepare before the match by using training AWP maps such as training_aim_csgo. Adjust the delay to 2 seconds and focus on practicing flickshots at level 4. This aids in improving your AWP technique during warm-ups.

It seems you're feeling really focused. You might want to take a break and unwind, or you could push through if that's what you need. What works for others may not work for you.

keep your focus consistent while playing CS. it seems you’ve been practicing a lot. I managed 128 ticks per second (skilled players) and played for about 20 minutes. Then I switched to 1v1 servers for around 10 minutes to get ready, but I only play one game each day.

Practice using a map like aim_botz. As a LEM, I understand the experience, so try this method or switch roles. Avoid always being an AWP. I also practiced with Ak, but sometimes I let go and had my team play as AWP while I played Ak.

Aim_botz is actually better, honestly. Plus, going to AWP would be a good idea—I’d check out the dedicated servers.

Playing at 64 ticks daily is better than 128, as 64 ticks servers are more stable. You'll get accustomed to them over time.

Pause for a moment and return to the task. Also, prepare your body by warming up before matches—it makes a big difference.
