There was a recent discount, drawing in many users who created new accounts, making things quite chaotic. To truly stay safe, it's best to use less popular maps such as office or similar. Ranking high is nearly impossible unless you have strong placements.

It's unavoidable. CS:GO starts you near the bottom, and after every two victories you'll face a 24-hour ban until you climb to ten. They then adjust your rank and offer simpler matches if you need it.

Earning the service medal happens at rank 40 after months of dedication. Being a newcomer can be tough, but it's fun! I secured my spots in 12 matches with 10 victories and 2 draws :lol.

So he was vs players with service medals who are in lower ranks, that is all i can gather from it, and is upset that he lost to them, i mean i know the frustration... but nothing you can do other than go in calm and clear headed and play your best.
