Hello, I just upgraded to the MSI MAG CORELIQUID 280R Liquid Cooler. I don’t remember the temperatures before, but now it’s running around 70°C when idle and 88-91°C under load. My Ryzen 7 5800X is on an Asus TUF Gaming board with the X570 chipset. I’m checking CPU temps with Core Temp and Open Hardware Monitor, and right now my CPU reads 75°C. I keep monitoring while I use it and have re-applied thermal paste, repositioned the cooler and CPU. This cooler was from my friend’s PC, so I can’t test it again. Are these readings typical for this model, or is the pump not working? Thanks!
How long has it been? It seems to have deteriorated. The MSI AIO-s, particularly the older models, are often reported to malfunction, and the Coreliquid 240R and 360R have even been recalled.
