Hi, I recently set up my second rig. On my first one, I achieved speeds between 3.5 and 4.2ghz using a Haswell 4670K. For the second build, I chose an AMD Ryzen to get more cores for multitasking and gaming. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600. I tried a quick overclock by setting the voltage to 1.4, which matches what others recommend for high overclocks. However, when I manually set it to 3.6ghz via the multi tool, the system won’t even boot into BIOS. I’m stuck having to clear CMOS and reset. I understand they can reach around 3.8ghz with a stock cooler, but I’m using a Master 120 Lite. Thanks in advance for any advice or tips!
