I made an error during the dual boot setup. Zorin is now installed on your external drive, which you’re aware is a mistake. You’ll need to remove it from that drive and install Windows instead.

I genuinely don’t want to do that since it’s my backup drive and it’s larger than the others, leaving me with no option to transfer everything.

It's a 3TB storage device. There was a good quantity of unused space available.

Yes, you can remove only the OS partition while leaving other data intact.

Hey, I think I'm a bit confused. I haven't had coffee yet, so maybe that's why. Would removing GRUB help too?

That's a solid inquiry. You may need to use a Windows ISO to reinstall the operating system and restore it to its original state.

I removed one of the partitions, which normally creates multiple ones, but now I’m facing an issue. Extending the main volume to cover the empty space isn’t possible for some reason. Losing 750 GB is a significant concern.
