Hey, I’m trying to connect two cables—one standard UTP Cat5e Ethernet and another Rj11 DSL. Can you guide me on how to link them together? Any advice or steps would be really useful! Thanks!

Sure, I get it. It's just a trial I planned, but I wanted some guidance.

Purchase a RJ-45 keystone jack and connect it following the pin layout on the Cat5e cable (most use T568-B). The RJ-11 jack fits into the RJ-45 port and touches the four center pins. There’s a need for this adapter because analog gear won’t function properly on a switched network.

It varies based on your goal, as each pin performs a unique function.

Could it function with a typical DSL setup, like moving Ethernet out to a DSL port on a modem or router? Just testing the idea.
