Need assistance with boot priority settings?
I was updating the BIOS for my ASUS Strix X570i to overclock the CPU. Now the issue is that the M.2 drive won’t load, it doesn’t appear in boot priorities. I’ve reset the CMOS and switched back to optimized BIOS settings, but nothing works. I’m unsure what I might have changed on the motherboard. Could there be a way to restore everything to factory defaults? Thanks!
The default setting for optimized BIOS is factory configured. Verify if the system recognizes the drive by switching the controller from ACHI to RAID or vice versa. Activate CSM and consider using a different M.2 slot if available. After setup, the BIOS might not display the M.2 device but rename it as Windows Boot Manager—search for this entry and add it to your boot list.
