Hello, I'm trying to connect my Ryzen 5 2600X to an ASUS B450M Plus gaming motherboard but am having trouble setting it up. Any guidance would be really helpful.

Most Ryzen processors have limited overclocking options beyond PBO and voltage adjustments. The CPU itself offers little flexibility beyond those methods. The 2600X typically capped at around 4.0 GHz, rarely reaching full multi-core speeds of 4.1 to 4.2 GHz.

In the BIOS, navigate to the AI tuner or AI overclock section (whatever it is called on this board) and adjust the clock speed and voltage settings. As @Shimejii pointed out, enabling PBO likely maximizes CPU performance. However, I've seen these options hidden in more complex menus.
