I purchased a new CPU motherboard and RAM. I'm trying to understand how to overclock them. I have a Ryzen 2600x with an X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING card, and my team T-Force has 16GB of 3000MHz RAM in the BIOS, but it keeps rebooting and resets to default.

I'm trying to boost my RAM performance but I'm not entirely sure how. My configuration is
Ryzen 2600x
Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING
team t-force dark 16 gb 3000 mhz
the speed reading appears as 2400 mhz, every time I set it to 3000 in the BIOS it restarts my computer a couple of times then it resets back to default.
Any suggestions?

Did you apply the RAM memory profile or only adjusted the BIOS speed? What is the make and model of the PSU?

I attempted to use XMB and set it to 30.00. The PSU is Corsair CX600M.

On the CPU, manual overclocking offers limited advantages. The built-in auto boost settings already provide near-optimal performance right out of the box.

That's what I thought too. I'm still confused about the RAM.
