Hi, I'm trying to assemble a PC with my partner and are worried about using the correct cable. We need one that fits the 8-pin connector on the mainboard. The CPU cable looks suitable, but the pin shapes don't match exactly—especially at pin 1, 2, 5, and 6, which all round even though the manual says square for pins 1 and 6. Can we still use this cable? PSU: be quiet! System Power 9 600W ATX 2.4 Motherboard: Gigabyte B660M DS3H DDR4
The 2x4 pins labeled CPU are the right ones, just verify the direction and connect it properly.
The right cables are here, it looks like you're holding them wrong.
