hello everyone, i'm facing an issue with my pc that's been happening for weeks. it seems to behave oddly now. i recently upgraded my graphics card, ram, and power supply. the performance has dropped significantly—from a rx 580 to a rx 6700XT, ram increased from 2 sticks at 2400mhz to 3600mhz, and the power supply went from an aerocool 550w to a seasonic focus gx 750w. the rest of the hardware is still there, including a ryan zen 5 3600 and an msi b450 tomahawk max ii board.
the main problem is that my pc stutters when scrolling on youtube or opening apps like file explorer. background audio also causes lag and distortion. i tried formatting the system, but the issue remains. i updated the gpu drivers and went through a factory reset in the update settings, but it helped only temporarily. i tested one ram stick at a time and it stopped working for now.
now i have another concern: the screen flickers, but the micro stuttering and audio issues still happen. i own an amd freesync monitor, and i noticed the flickering occurs when it's enabled. this has never happened before with this monitor, so i'm really confused. what should i do next?
