A solid pairing would work well, though for the motherboard opt for a B450 Pro4 with enhanced VRM cooling. Sticking with the 1060 is still a smart choice. What PSU model are you using?

Didn't catch the PSU question—it's a Corsair VS650. Not too sure about the bronze and gold ratings because it's around 3-4 years old. I guess it could be around 80 plus white.

The current setup isn’t very strong—think about swapping it for something better. Models like the CX 550 or the Be Quiet Pure Power would work well. You don’t require a lot of power; 550 watts or less is ideal.
