You're looking to upgrade your CPU, and you've found a promising option within your budget of around 150 USD. The product seems well-reviewed and reasonably priced. It would be a good idea to check the specifications to ensure it meets your needs before making the purchase. Good luck with your upgrade!

Your CPU age might require a different motherboard. It's not recommended to go for the Ryzen 5 2600; a 10400f would be more appropriate.

Hello. I just reviewed this processor and it looks quite capable given its cost. With six cores and twelve threads (and if you need more power), it should be an excellent CPU choice for gaming. If you want to keep it relevant in the future, you might consider spending a bit more, but right now it performs very well for games! (I’m also a big fan of Intel.)

I already purchased the motherboard. This one is just what I need for a solid gaming PC. Nothing fancy. Uncertain about upgrading boosters. Probably okay after a few years if it still works. For now, the price seems reasonable. I’ll keep looking but this one looks decent.
