I'm assisting with troubleshooting your computer. It seems there were several issues: overheating, shutdown after short time, thermal paste application, unresponsiveness after paste, bent pins, and power supply concerns. You're considering a dead CPU and suspect the power supply as another possibility.

The details are unclear. We don’t have much information about the device or its components. It seems like thermal paste might have been applied incorrectly, possibly causing the system to stop working. It’s possible the CPU was damaged during handling rather than failing after repair attempts.

The system includes an i5 11th gen processor, ATX-PR600W power supply, ASRock B550 M-C cooler, 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM. They didn’t apply thermal paste to the CPU. All connections were verified (24-pin, CPU, AIO).

In recent decades, most x86 processors have relied on internal thermal safeguards to prevent overheating. This suggests the issue is unlikely, or a completely stopped processor is improbable.
